Before we dive in, I have to share a little extra excitement about this launch. It’s always special to see feedback from partners and customers shape the content that Screenfeed creates. LinkedIn is no exception!
LinkedIn has been a highly requested addition to the Screenfeed social content suite. I’m thrilled we could deliver on that request and help users feature the most popular professional social platform on their displays.
LinkedIn carries substantial social weight, with over one billion users from 200 countries worldwide. Company pages garner hundreds of likes, comments, and other engagement on a single LinkedIn post.
Displaying those posts on digital screens will act as social proof to viewers, and create meaningful connections between them and the company or brand.
Rich social calendars are also consistently maintained by marketing teams for company LinkedIn pages. Multiple posts are published each week—perfectly curated and relevant to your brand. This lightens the load of personnel responsible for managing the digital signage content schedule.
The combination of a large user base and a constant stream of new content addresses two common pain points in content strategy: maintaining freshness and relevance. This is why LinkedIn, and other social content, is an easy choice for adding value to screens.
Like other Screenfeed content options, LinkedIn feeds can be configured to fit branding and performance needs.
For brand customization, set colors and fonts, choose a social grid of one to six posts, and set a custom text CTA. For optimized playback, choose to show or hide videos in posts and animations in HTML feeds.
In general, Screenfeed content is software agnostic and compatible with nearly all CMS or media players available today.
LinkedIn will look great as a full-screen feature, or in a variety of zones like 4:3, sidebars or footers.
Finally, Screenfeed has you covered with a full team on top of API updates and changes for any social platforms we offer. Licensing costs are covered, too!
Sometimes, the person setting up content feeds is not the same person who manages the company's LinkedIn account. Screenfeed offers an easy way to authenticate a social account for use in Screenfeed feeds!
When creating a LinkedIn feed, you will be prompted to log in to the social account and grant Screenfeed access to your company’s LinkedIn posts.
If you’re the LinkedIn account owner, simply enter your login credentials and click “allow.” Then, you’re ready to finish the feed setup.
If you’re not the social account owner, click on ‘Integrations’ in your Screenfeed account. Click the Add Integration button, scroll to LinkedIn, and click the Authorize Link button.
Select “Email to a different address” to send an email to the account owner through the Screenfeed account. Or, copy the generated link and send it to the account owner directly.
Ask the account owner to follow the steps in the secure link, then a feed can be set up without the account owner needing to log in to a Screenfeed account.
Screenfeed will continue adding new social & communication platforms to the full content suite. TikTok, SharePoint and Bluesky are all contenders for our next social content app option.
So, your opinion matters! Connect with us and submit a suggestion on what social platform you want to see next. We’d love to hear your thoughts.
Until the next social launch, we hope you enjoy LinkedIn!
